Barcelona Ready for Inaugural Game at Partially Completed Camp Nou this Saturday

Barça revealed their first game will take place at the partially upgraded Camp Nou this Saturday. They will welcome the Bilbao team in La Liga 30 months since relocating to allow renovations to start.

“We’ve dreamed about the return. Now, it’s here. We’re back home. Back at Spotify Camp Nou.”

Attendance will be limited though over 45,000 attendees can be present as per the current authorization. When completed, it will accommodate close to 105,000 fans, a rise from the old capacity. Barça announced finished work included a renovated tunnel for players along with upgraded changing facilities.

Barça organized an open training session at the Camp Nou earlier this month. They mentioned they are seeking authorization from European football’s governing body for their upcoming Champions League fixture facing Eintracht on 9 December in the renovated venue.
